Every plan includes an allowance for messages and attachments processed by PaisaCopilot. Your household shares one allowance across all members and devices.
Your plan allowance
| Plan | People | AI interactions |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | 10 per calendar month |
| Pro Individual | 1 | 70 per fixed week |
| Pro Household | 3 | 210 per fixed week |
| Pro Max | 6 | 700 per fixed week |
People limits include the household owner. The AI allowance is a household total, not an allowance for each person. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly, while their AI allowance resets weekly. Current prices are shown in the app.
What counts as an interaction?
One successfully processed message or attachment counts as one interaction. Text sent with an attachment is included in that attachment’s interaction.
- A standalone question or expense message: 1 interaction.
- One receipt with a note explaining it: 1 interaction.
- Three attachments that all finish successfully: 3 interactions.
- Three attachments where two succeed and one fails: 2 interactions.
Copilot shortcuts, such as marking a bill paid, also count when they send a message for processing. An interaction can complete successfully without creating or changing a financial record. For example, a completed “no supported financial data found” result still counts.
What does not count?
Browsing existing records, opening controls, selecting files, and managing your account do not consume interactions. Data corrections, deletion, and reminder cancellation are not separately metered; if you send a new message or attachment to request an action, the normal interaction rule applies.
Rejected uploads, cancellation before processing, and processing that ends in failure do not consume an interaction. Internal processing steps and automatic retries do not add extra interactions.
While a message or attachment is processing, its interaction is reserved from your available allowance. It is counted when processing succeeds, or released if processing fails.
When does usage reset?
- Free: at the start of each calendar month in your household’s time zone.
- Paid plans: at the end of each fixed seven-day window, starting from paid activation. A verified upgrade starts a new window.
Unused interactions do not carry over. Paid usage is not a rolling seven-day total, and there is no separate monthly AI allowance. Monthly subscription renewal, reinstalling the app, switching devices, or restoring the same subscription does not restart the weekly allowance.
For a paid plan, open Pro Plans & Usage from the app’s side menu to see the percentage remaining and exact reset date and time. On Free, the app shows the next monthly reset when you reach the limit.
What happens when you reach the limit?
New messages and attachments must wait until your allowance resets, or the subscription owner can choose an eligible higher plan. Other household members can ask the owner to upgrade.
You can still view existing records, navigate the app, manage your account, and restore purchases. Reaching the AI limit does not delete your financial history.
How do plan changes affect usage?
Upgrading: once PaisaCopilot verifies an upgrade to a higher paid plan, you receive that plan’s full allowance in a fresh seven-day window. Work already accepted before the upgrade stays with the previous allowance.
Downgrading: the lower plan applies when Apple makes the change effective. Usage already counted in the active window remains, and the lower limit applies without a reset. If that usage reaches the lower limit, wait for the next reset or upgrade.
If your household has more people than the new plan allows, new messages and attachments are paused until the owner upgrades or an admin removes enough members, even if AI allowance remains.
Cancelling: paid access continues until the end of the verified paid period. Once it ends, the Free plan’s limits apply.
